Medi, also known as "Medi Kay", is a young musician currently residing in the state of Virginia, USA.

At the young age of 9, he began writing his own songs at home. It wasn't until 2006 until he started making music and working on remixes. Medi, at age 11, began working with Tutala Makoma, a rapper/producer in UK and a member of the Congolese Gospel group Makoma. As years progressed, he became serious about producing and songwriting for the glory of God and began with his cousins, by recording music in the house for friends and family.

In 2008, Medi began recording music in a duo entitled "La Puissance de Dieu" (French for "The Power of God"). That summer, upon visiting London, UK, he first heard the work of artists Guvna B and Victizzle through on YouTube and was inspired by their hard work at reaching out to the masses.

On the side, Medi has also been writing his own lyrics and producing music. He's also been working on remixes and productions with a close brother, Julian "Jay" Lubuele. In 2010, Medi was introduced to grime through the work of J-Swizzy. His first song on a UK beat was entitled "Pick Yourself Up", and has been redone and is included on Medi's first mixtape, entitled "Fresh Start". The same year, he worked with Julian to create a remix for Lordside's "Say No More", which is featured on the Lordside mixtape.

He continues to create music and write new songs, while working with new people around the world. At age 17, in all he does, he works not for his own glory, but for the glory of the Lord.
